CHAMPP (Climate-Health Action for Mainstreamed Policies and Health Professionals) is a 10-month initiative designed to integrate health considerations into national and subnational energy policy frameworks. By strengthening Health Impact Assessments (HIAs) and mobilizing health professionals, the project ensures that energy decisions protect both people and the planet.
Health workers face head-on the pressures of a changing climate, as they deliver care on the frontlines of heatwaves and other extreme weather events. It’s time health systems and facilities are built to protect them and protect the health of all.
